Rockland County Psychological Society
The Rockland County Psychological Society was founded in 1954 in order to serve the needs of psychologists living and working in the County. The Society includes members engaged in all kinds of psychological endeavors: from school psychologists to industrial psychologists. Many members of the Society are also in private practice. Their competencies range from cognitive behavioral treatment to traditional psychodynamic therapy. The Society has expanded its network to include other mental health professionals, such as social workers and psychiatrists who live or work in Rockland County, as well as adjacent counties.
Several times a year, the Society holds dinner meetings at which a distinguished member of the profession delivers a talk on a timely subject. The Society also offers networking events and holds seminars on topics of interest to its members. Check out the coming events page to learn more about upcoming programs.
The Society is a Regional Affiliate of the New York State Psychological Association. To go to the NYSPA site, click here. For more information about the Society, you may e-mail us at info@rocklandpsychsociety.org.
